Ezalor (2005)

This is a poem I created for that special someone who is always there for me, my keeper of light. This poem is featured in the literary page of our highschool newspaper "The Carmelian" along with my other poem "Ann". This poem is written in standard sonnet format. The title is a direct reference to ezalor from defense of the ancients MOBA game.


Ezalor (2005)


i have known and love you eversince
and until now I still long for you,
how much have I given to see you again?
My secretly beloved and my friend
and by your lustrous beauty I behold!
your untiring gleam, my keeper of light!
even in the dim darkness of the night
you're always there to illuminate me,
And give me warmth to relieve my sadness
your smile always scintillates with mirth
and always sparkle with loving joy
that enraptures me very helplessly,
even my best poem pines for you
and never will I lose you again, now...
