Anne (2005)

This poem is featured in our school newspaper, "The Carmelian" along with my other poem, "Ezalor" which has the same thought as this poem. This poem is inspired from a song by rivermaya titled "She" from the album between the stars and waves. Like the author's other poems, this one also has secret messages embedded in the poem.

Anne (2005)

Anne's eyes are so lovely
and soft,
Her stare is so gentle
while her mind is aloft

Her face was so fine,
That gives mirth
on where my heart consign

Her smile was filled with
blithe,
Like the sweet smell of an evergreen pine
Like the sunset at night,
in the heavenly thine...

She's like a star that
settles in the velvet sea
That's beyond the deep
And in the universe she's
free...

Like waves that long to kiss
the moon
when reached their
extremities
They'll be gone soon...

Oh how lovely, I long for
Her
And search for love
That was only there...

And the thought of how
lovely she cares....
